What you Need to Know

Hilliard Hours:

Regular Daycare

  • Your dog must be 25 pounds OR 13 inches and under
  • Puppies must be at least 12 weeks old and have had 2 sets of shots
  • Male dogs over 5 months old MUST be neutered - no exceptions
  • No Appointment Necessary at this time.
  • Your dog must be current on Rabies, Bordetella, Parvo and Distemper vaccinations.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a dog not current on vaccinations.
  • We reserve the right to refuse aggressive dogs.
  • You may bring your dog a snack to be given at lunchtime.

DaySchool:

  • Your dog must be 35 pounds and under
  • Puppies must be at least 12 weeks old and have had 2 sets of shots
  • Appointments ARE necessary!
  • Male dogs over 5 months old MUST be neutered. (some special exceptions)
  • Your dog must be current on Rabies, Bordetella, Parvo and Distemper vaccinations.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a dog not current on vaccinations.
  • We reserve the right to refuse aggressive dogs. 

Boarding

  • Your dog MUST be 25 pounds OR 13 inches and under
  • Puppies MUST be at least 12 weeks old and have had 2 sets of shots

  • We reserve the right to refuse dogs not current on vaccinations.

  • Bring your dog's food, enough for the stay plus 2 days, just in case you are delayed.
  • If you have multiple dogs, each dog should have their own bag of food and treats.
  • When bringing dry food you may pre-bag by meal or bring it in a larger bag or container, but the container must fit in a standard sized dishpan.
  • When bringing canned food, please bring only unopened cans.
  • When bringing homemade food, please freeze any food over 2 days worth to insure freshness.
  • When bringing raw food, please freeze or keep frozen, any food over 2 days worth to insure freshess.
  • Do not mix canned or raw food into dry food. We would rather you keep it separate.
  • You may bring CLEAN, FRESHLY WASHED bedding from home or use ours.
  • All Bedding must be machine washable and fit in a standard washing machine.
  • We reserve the right to refuse unclean, overly large or unwashable bedding. 
  • LABEL all your dog's belongings, we cannot be responsible for lost belongings.
  • We are not responsible for any damage done to personal belongings.
  • Please remember to bring your dog's medication, enough for the stay plus 2 days, just in case.
  • A Going Home Bath can be scheduled - just inquire at checkin.

Grooming

  • Puppies MUST be 12 weeks old and have had 2 sets of shots
  • Unneutered males are accepted for grooming but not for daycare or boarding
  • Appontments ARE Necessary.
  • Your dog must be current on Rabies, Bordetella, Parvo and Distemper vaccinations.
  • We accept all size dogs. (Large dogs need make an IN & OUT appointment as we do not have the facility to house large dogs for any length of time.)
  • We reserve the right to refuse a dog not current on vaccinations.
  • You may arrive anytime before your scheduled groom appointment.
  • Ask about letting your dog play in daycare while waiting for a groom.
  • Remember there is increased risk and additional time needed when shaving, de-matting, de-shedding, or when grooming difficult* dogs. Please allow extra time and expect extra charges.
  • We have programs to help difficult dogs better cope with grooming. Please email the owner by "clicking here" if you have a difficult dog in need of coping skills.
  • If you are not pleased with your groom please let us know. We WANT to make it right!
  • You may email the owner by "clicking here" if you have any comments regarding your groom.
  • Please think of our Groomers as Hair Dressers for your dog. They work hard and are in danger of being bitten, cut, peed on, and pooped on. They do their best to give you the look you want on a client that may not ever stop moving, jerking or trying to bite. Please be respectful, and if you like the groom - let them know with a tip. Gosh, they deserve it.

* examples of difficult dogs are dogs that bite or try to bite, elderly or crippled dogs that can't stand, a dog that cannot remain still and constantly moves, jerks or pulls.
